Durable, Energy-Efficient Low Slope & Flat Roofing
The Right System for Every Flat Roof
All Over Roofing installs, replaces, and repairs flat and low-slope roofing systems for homeowners, businesses, and property managers throughout Eastern South Dakota and Southeastern North Dakota.
Common on commercial buildings, garages, additions, and multi-family properties, a flat or low-slope roof (3:12 pitch or less) relies on the right membrane system and proper drainage rather than a steep pitch to stay watertight.
As certified installers backed by BBB A+ accreditation, we help you choose the right system for your property, budget, and long-term maintenance plan.

Single Ply-Membranes
Single-ply membranes are the most widely used flat and low-slope systems today, valued for their heat-welded seams and long service life.
- TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin): A white, reflective membrane that deflects heat and cuts cooling costs, popular for commercial buildings, garages, and home additions
- EPDM (Rubber Roofing): A synthetic rubber membrane that flexes without cracking through Midwest freeze-thaw cycles, a cost-effective choice for residential and commercial flat roofs
- PVC: Highly resistant to chemicals, grease, and moisture, a top pick for restaurants, industrial buildings, and other demanding commercial properties
- PVC-KEE: An advanced PVC formulation with better long-term flexibility and UV resistance, suited for demanding commercial applications
Modified Bitumen
Modified bitumen is an asphalt-based roofing system reinforced with rubber or plastic modifiers, commonly used on garages, additions, boathouses, and other low-slope structures where a rugged, water-resistant membrane fits humid settings.
We work with two primary types:
- SBS modified bitumen: flexes well through cold Midwest winters, ideal for low-slope applications in our climate
- APP modified bitumen: offers strong heat resistance for added durability in summer conditions
Both are available in several installation methods, including self-adhered, cold-applied, heat-welded, and hot-applied, so we can choose the right approach for your building.
Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
Built-up roofing is a time-tested, multi-layer system made of alternating layers of asphalt and reinforcing ply sheets, most often found on commercial and industrial buildings with large, flat roof areas that see regular foot traffic for maintenance or equipment access. It’s finished with one of two surface types:
- Gravel-surfaced BUR: adds extra protection and a durable, walkable surface
- Mineral-surfaced BUR: offers a smoother finish with strong weather resistance
Known for its durability and ability to handle foot traffic, BUR remains a trusted, long-lasting option for commercial and industrial properties.
Other Flat/Low-Slope Systems
Beyond our core membrane systems, we also work with:
- Liquid-applied roofing coatings, including silicone, acrylic, and polyurethane, often used to restore and extend the life of an existing roof without a full tear-off
- Low-slope metal roofing systems for added durability and a distinct look on garages, additions, and commercial buildings
- Hybrid systems, such as modified bitumen paired with TPO or PVC, combining the strengths of multiple materials for demanding applications
- Ballasted roofing systems, held in place with gravel or pavers rather than full adhesion, common on large commercial roofs
- Green and vegetative roofing systems, an emerging option for property owners interested in added insulation and stormwater management
